Dog Training FAQs
-
All of our training programs are private, one-on-one lessons that last between 1-1.5 hours.
4 Week Dream Dog Course
Our most popular package is our 4 Week Dream Dog Course. We've seen every dog come out of this program a better dog. This program is perfect for dogs struggling with more than one challenge and owners looking for a program that sets their dogs up for success in the long term. We cover everything from leash walking and obedience to resolving behavioral challenges. This program consists of 2-4 private lessons.
Single Lessons
This is the best option for dog owners looking to fix 1-2 small challenges with their dog or puppy.
Offleash Obedience Course
Designed for graduates of our Dream Dog Course or dogs who already have a solid training foundation. This program is for owners who want true off-leash freedom — whether on hikes, at the beach, or in open spaces. We take your dog’s training to the next level so they can reliably listen in high-distraction environments.
-
Absolutely! We've had 8-week-old puppies successfully go through this program — with lessons tailored to their unique learning needs. For young pups, we often space lessons every other week so you have support as your dog grows from 8 to 16 weeks — some of the most important (and challenging!) weeks in your puppy’s development.
Our Dream Dog Course is always tailored to your dog, needs, and goals 🌟

Sanjana is a relationship-based dog trainer who emphasizes the importance of building clear communication between you and your dog and creating excellent obedience through play.
We first focus on teaching your pup how to stay engaged and play with you, no matter the environment, and then layer in obedience training and leash-walking skills. Most dogs struggle because they are more engaged with their environment than their owners. So we flip it! We teach your dog how to be more interested in you than the environment so they respect the leash and obedience commands.
We are proud to say that 95% of our clients see improvement in their dog's behavior after the first lesson. This is because we get to the root of the issue from lesson one. We teach your dog to play and engage with you and see you as the pack leader.
We are confident that our training can help your dog lead a happier, more fulfilling life, while also creating more freedom and flexibility for you.
-
Yes! We're so confident in our approach that if you're not satisfied within 24 hours of your first lesson, we'll issue a full refund — minus the cost of that first lesson.
Payment for the course is collected after your first lesson, once you've had a chance to experience our training firsthand. We want you to feel 100% confident in our training approach before investing in the course.
We're proud to say that every client who's completed the course has graduated with a happier, more well-balanced dog.
-
Every dog can make incredible, life-changing transformation from private lessons. We are here to support you and your pup regardless of breed, age, issue, or size.
We've trained dogs as small as 10 lbs and dogs as old as 10 years. We get to the root of the issue from lesson one, which helps your pup align with your goals.
-
We train at our training location in South Park, San Diego, Freedom Park in Balboa Park, or in the comfort of your neighborhood.
Whatever works best for you and your pup!

Dog Walking FAQs
-
A Walk, Train, Play session is our signature service! Each session is 1 hour long.
Our head trainer, Sanjana, believes that walks should be both physically and mentally stimulating to ensure a happy, calm pup when you come home. She personally trains our dog walkers in play-based training methods and canine body language so every walk is both fun and enriching.
Here’s what to expect:
We pick up your pup and let them potty.
We play a few training games like tug or fetch to engage their mind.
We take them on a nice, long walk to burn off energy.
You’ll get updates every step of the way, including a text when we arrive, a mid-walk update with a picture, and a final text when we’re wrapping up.
-
